The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E is a battery-electric crossover SUV offering competitive range compared to other large manufacturers. Most trims go more than 250 miles on a charge, and a new rear-mounted electric motor is more efficient than the one it replaces for increased maximum driving range at up to 320 miles per charge. Using the Standard Range Battery, Select and Premium RWD deliver up to 250 miles of estimated range; and opting for eAWD allows for up to 230 miles of range.
The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E’s Select and Premium RWD deliver up to 320 miles of EPA-estimated range with the Extended Range Battery. Adding eAWD gets Select up to 300 miles of estimated range, and Premium eAWD is good for up to 290 miles, while GT comes with eAWD and the Extended Range Battery for an estimated 280 miles of range. As Ford’s first-ever rally-inspired electric SUV, the Mustang Mach-E Rally gets an enhanced powertrain with the dual eMotor and Extended Range Battery for an estimated 265 miles of range.

2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E Battery and Charging
Every 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E comes with fast-charging capability, and the Mach-E can charge slightly quicker on a DC connection compared to the previous model year. DC Fast Charging allows the Mach-E to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 36 minutes. The included mobile home charging unit can add up to 30 miles of range per night when plugged into a 120-volt outlet, according to Ford, or it can charge up to 80 percent of battery capacity overnight when plugged into a 240-volt outlet.
By spring of 2024, the Ford Mustang Mach-E is expected to be compatible with Tesla’s Supercharger network for charging. In addition, the Mach-E can be had with a more powerful home charging station that needs to be installed by certified electricians, and when using this charging unit, the Mach-E’s battery gains up to 28 miles of range for every hour of charging.
