The all-new Ford F-150 Lightning delivers a maximum towing capacity of up to 10,000 pounds when equipped with the optional Extended Range battery, which also gets a payload capacity of 1,800 pounds. All 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning models with the Standard Range battery can tow a maximum of up to 7,700 pounds, and they offer up to 2,000 pounds of payload capacity.

The 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning is a fully electric full-size pickup truck offering a powerful electrified performance. All Ford F-150 Lightning models come standard with two electric motors and all-wheel drive with the choice of either a Standard Range or Extended Range battery. The Standard Range battery makes up to 452 horsepower, while the Extended Range battery generates up to 580 horsepower, an impressive 775 lb-ft of peak torque and reaches 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds.

With the smaller 98.0-kWh battery, the 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning is estimated to deliver up to 230 miles per charge with up to 76 MPGe city and 61 MPGe highway, while the larger 131.0-kWh pack allows for an increased driving range of up to 320 miles due to an estimated fuel economy rating of 78 MPGe city and 63 MPGe highway. The Ford F-150 Lightning can be charged at home using a 110- or 220-volt outlet or at public DC fast-charging stations, and Ford says it can charge from 15 to 80 percent of battery capacity in 44 minutes.
