As a fully electric full-size pickup truck, the all-new 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning is engineered with a highly efficient electrified powertrain. All Ford F-150 Lightning models have standard all-wheel drive and dual electric motors. Using the Standard Range Battery with 98.0-kWh of power, the Ford F-150 Lightning gets up to 76 MPGe city and 61 MPGe highway for an EPA-estimated driving range of up to 230 miles per charge. Extended Range models come with a larger 131.0-kWh battery pack for up to 78 MPGe city and 63 MPGe highway. As a result, F-150 Lightning models with the Extended Range Battery get increased max driving range of up to an EPA-estimated 320 miles per charge.

2024 Ford F-150 Charging Time
The 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning offers multiple charging options with faster charging times. The all-new Ford F-150 Lightning can charge using an available home charger or Mobile Power Cord. The Ford Charge Station Pro works with all F-150 Lightning models, and it adds 20 miles per hour of charging for Flash and Lariat models and 19 miles per hour of charging for XLT and Platinum. Also compatible with all F-150 Lightning models, the Mobile Power Cord (30 amp) adds 13 miles per hour of charging for XLT, Flash and Lariat models and 12 miles per hour of charging for Platinum when using 240 V of power.
The Ford F-150 Lightning is capable of charging at public DC fast-charging stations as well. According to Ford, the F-150 Lightning is able to charge from 15 percent to 80 percent of battery capacity in approximately 44 minutes. Not only that, but the Ford F-150 Lightning is engineered to serve as a backup generator and can supply up to three days of electricity for the average household in the event of a power outage when fully charged.
