The 2023 Ford Escape has been completely revamped inside and out. All-new exterior and interior designs this year plus new technology make this the best year to opt for a new model year of the Ford Escape. There is also a new ST-series with three trim levels for a sportier option.

Gone are the S, SE, SEL, and Titanium trim names. 2023 brings a shakeup to the trim lineup with new names: Base, Active, ST, ST Select, ST Elite, and Platinum models.

These exciting new SUVS are built right here in Louisville, Kentucky and are available to order now at Heritage Ford with delivery expected in early 2023.

With two gas engine options and a powerful hybrid engine with plug-in option, the 2023 Ford Escape can accelerate and overtake with ease. You can even tow up to 3,500 lbs. when properly equipped.

The Escape continues to rank at the top of its class for fuel economy. This is thanks, in part, to available smart technology like Ford’s Auto Start-Stop to cut fuel use while idling. Available AWD Disconnect can kick in to save even more fuel when your Escape detects that front-wheel drive is sufficient.

Opt for the right drive mode to customize each ride. Eco Mode helps conserve fuel. Sport Mode increases acceleration and speeds up the transmission while making the steering lighter. Slippery Mode improves traction and control when roads are wet with rain, snow, or ice.

2023 Ford Escape Exterior

This year’s model has a nicely refreshed exterior with an emphasis on bold presence and squared lines over previous years’ softer, gentler curves. Among the more noticeable changes are the more aggressive hood and LED-lined headlights. There’s also a stylish strip of LED light that runs along the gap between the hood and the grille on some models. These changes add up to a much higher-end look despite the still affordable price tag.

If you choose from the all-new ST lineup you see even more athletic design changes, such as black out trim, larger black wheels, mesh grille, unique rear skid plate, rear spoiler, and monochromatic paint that makes trim body color. The ST’s wheels are specially designed, too, with Rock Metallic or Ebony painted wheels in 18” or 19” aluminum.

New this year is the updated electrical architecture. This is a fancy way of saying the 2023 Ford Escape has more functionality than ever before through the cloud-connected SYNC4 infotainment suite. The Escape offers comfortable interior features, like optional heated seats and heated steering wheel, with ergonomically designed seating. The rear seats slide to make more legroom for rear passengers and can go forward for more rear cargo space.

This year brings options for flat-bottom steering wheel, touchscreen climate control, and other special touches like a digital cluster display option. The center console is much less busy this year, and the cabin feels cleaner and larger as a result.
